Key Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with clients to implement behavior therapy techniques and support their individualized service plans.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and school staff, respecting their values, thoughts, and beliefs.
  • Document interventions and progress towards goals, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plans, using applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to drive positive change.
  • Provide training, instruction, and assistance to help clients acquire and maintain skills, and to meet identified goals.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certified or the desire to pursue certification (paid for by BAYADA).
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One year experience working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities preferred.
