Key Responsibilities

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

  • Guest Interaction: Warmly welcome residents and their visitors, providing assistance as needed.
  • Facility Setup: Arrange poolside amenities such as umbrellas, lounge chairs, and cabanas to enhance the guest experience.
  • Supplies Management: Monitor and replenish water dispensers and skincare products throughout the shift.
  • Towel Service: Prepare and offer fresh towels to residents daily.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to Association Rules and Regulations among residents.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Report any equipment malfunctions to the Supervisor promptly.
  • Cleanliness: Remove used towels and trash to maintain a tidy environment.
  • Furniture Organization: Keep pool furniture arranged and in good condition.
  • Daily Checklist: Complete assigned daily tasks to ensure operational efficiency.
Work Environment

This role primarily takes place outdoors, near the pool area, with a moderate noise level.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position include:

  • Occasional sitting, standing, reaching, lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, pushing, and pulling items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Extended periods of standing and walking, as well as outdoor work.
Position Type and Schedule

This is a non-exempt (hourly) position, with work hours determined by property needs. Flexibility in scheduling is required.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a luxury property or hotel setting is highly preferred.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to thrive in a busy, upscale, and fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit, even in stressful situations.
  • Effective communication skills with team members and guests.
