Customer Service Liaison Specialist

Metals USA is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of company products, service programs, and contracts, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding order status and product requests.
Resolve product and service problems in a professional and courteous manner.
Generate reports to Purchasing, Accounting, and Quality Departments as required.
Process customer orders, changes, and returns according to established department policies and procedures.
Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Assist the sales team with generating profitable sales and on-time deliveries.
Identify customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
Review sales orders for accuracy and generate inventory reports as required.
Manage incoming calls and customer service inquiries.
Maintain customer accounts and implement changes to existing accounts.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Experience in customer service and/or sales preferred.
Ability to communicate oral and written communication effectively.
Ability to respond to time-sensitive, problematic, and precarious inquiries effectively.
Ability to interface effectively with all departments to foster a success-oriented, deadline-driven organization.
Ability to demonstrate professionalism and diplomacy, including telephone etiquette.
Good analytical and organizational skills, able to make sound decisions utilizing the data on hand.
Ability to adhere to standard office practices and procedures, including filing, customer service, attention to detail, organizational management, and time management.
