Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Cash and Systems Operations to lead our Global Cash Operations team in New York and an offshore team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely application of lock box and remote check deposits, wire, ACH, and credit card payments to customer accounts on behalf of over 150 businesses within NBCUniversal.

This role requires a strong understanding of financial controls, policies, and procedures, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Global Cash Operations team in New York and an offshore team to ensure timely payment processing and cash application.
  • Ensure all payment and cash application transactions are performed in accordance with NBCUniversal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform quarterly account reconciliations on all general ledger accounts receivable and cash clearing accounts.
  • Manage and conduct monthly operational and quarterly general ledger closes in aggressive timeline.
  • Lead and develop a team in New York to ensure GCFO is achieving best-in-class cash operations performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar position within an international environment (Entertainment industry preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire high performance within a high-paced environment.
  • Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven project management skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience in Accounts Receivable or Payables in Media or Advertising industry.
  • Experience leading a finance operations team such as in banking, accounts receivable, billing, accounts payables or comparable role.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Lean or six-sigma aptitude is a plus.
