Job Overview

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Clinical Social Worker Level II to provide comprehensive social work services in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

This role requires a deep understanding of psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. The selected individual will also have experience in advocating for patients while maintaining professional boundaries and providing evidence-based interventions.

About the Position
  • This position will work 28 hours in Everett, Revere, Chelsea, East Boston, and Wintrop, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provides psychosocial assessments of patients and families with social, emotional, interpersonal, and/or environmental issues.
  2. Formulates biopsychosocial assessments, dispositions, and treatment plans.
  3. Collaborates with other professionals to evaluate patients' medical or physical condition and assess client needs as part of the interdisciplinary team.
  4. Maintains accurate records of client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plans.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrates proficient clinical judgment and application of professional values and ethics.
  2. Formulates assessment of risks, crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and documentation in a timely manner.
  3. Demonstrates sound clinical judgment and innovation in advocating for clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
  4. Utilizes supervision and consultation regularly and appropriately.
  5. Able to negotiate and work in a complex organization.

Compensation Package

Estimated salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
