Intimate Partner Violence Advocate

We are seeking a highly skilled Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) Advocate to join our team at Mass General Brigham in Chelsea, MA. As an IPV Advocate, you will play a critical role in providing clinical services to hospital patients and employees impacted by intimate partner violence.
About the RoleThe IPV Advocate will work effectively as a member of the HAVEN team and on interdisciplinary teams to provide IPV training, consultation, and debriefing to social workers and providers of other disciplines within the Hospital and community. The successful candidate will facilitate coordination of services to individuals and families, participate in Hospital, departmental, and community task forces and/or committees, and engage with growth and enrichment opportunities as able.
Key Responsibilities- Provides clinical services to hospital patients and employees impacted by intimate partner violence.
- Works effectively as a member of the HAVEN team and on interdisciplinary teams.
- Provides IPV training, consultation, and debriefing to social workers and providers of other disciplines within the Hospital and community.
- Facilitates coordination of services to individuals and families.
- Participates in Hospital, departmental, and community task forces and/or committees.
- Engages with growth and enrichment opportunities as able.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program, current Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and 1-3 years direct work experience with survivors of intimate partner violence. Demonstrated ability to understand the role of intimate partner violence advocacy in a hospital or healthcare center setting and to work in a complex, fast-paced environment is also required.
SalaryThe estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
