This position plays a vital role in gathering, preparing, and scrutinizing financial and operational data from various departments to generate reports that deliver data-driven insights for business decisions.

The specialist will ensure data accuracy, analyze intricate data sets, and present findings in a clear and impactful manner to stakeholders, partners, and investors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and implement business analysis and data reporting frameworks for organizational use.
  • Generate both standard and customized business reports that highlight essential data metrics.
  • Develop and refine KPIs as the organization evolves.
  • Assist in the upkeep of accounting and operational databases, performing necessary updates to maintain data integrity.
  • Ensure consistency in data and resolve discrepancies across various reporting platforms.
  • Prepare and manage business budgets and forecasts on a rolling twelve-month basis.
  • Effectively communicate the outcomes of data analysis in both written and verbal formats to management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formula creation, pivot tables, and data structuring.
  • Familiarity with Google Query Language and Power BI is highly desirable; knowledge of VBA and SQL is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data management and analytical skills.
  • Adept at identifying trends and patterns through reconciliation techniques to ensure data accuracy.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the real estate sector, whether residential or commercial, or a related field.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP within the real estate industry.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong skills in interpreting and conveying information derived from data sets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Familiarity with Yardi Voyage software is advantageous.
