Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant field.
- Independence: Requires minimal supervision with a significant degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training: Capable of mentoring fellow technicians.
- Decision Making: Adheres to guidelines and makes fundamental technical choices on the production floor.
- Problem Solving: Effectively addresses issues and identifies opportunities for improvement by leveraging industrial expertise.
- Results Orientation: Strives to optimize equipment performance to meet overall production objectives.
- Written Communication: Proficient in interpreting work orders and completing requisitions.
- Technical Skills: Possesses a thorough understanding of industrial mechanics, including basic principles of TIG welding, single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, motor control circuits, PLCs, and frequency drives.
Accountabilities:
- Utilize industrial maintenance expertise to install, maintain, and repair plant systems and equipment - 45%.
- Conduct condition monitoring tasks, including preventive and predictive maintenance - 30%.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify potential failure modes and collaborate with operations, engineering, suppliers, and colleagues to enhance equipment reliability - 15%.
- Employ the company's Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) as a vital management information tool - 5%.
- Propose, develop, and implement modifications to improve equipment functionality and achieve departmental goals - 5%.
Work Environment:
Working conditions may involve exposure to powder dust, cleaning agents, confined spaces, and heights.
Shift Schedule:
Normal working hours are from 6 AM to 2 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, with overtime as needed.
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
