We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team at St. Mark's Hospital. As a Float Pool Resource RN Days, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our nursing units, while also having the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients on various nursing units, including medical-surgical, critical care, and other specialty areas.
- Float to different nursing units as needed to ensure adequate staffing and patient care.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest nursing practices and technologies.
- Current State of Utah Registered Nurse license or RN Compact license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- Any other certification/training required by the department in which employee is floating.
- Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Must have the sensitivity, maturity, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- At least one-year medical/surgical acute care hospital experience required.
