This position entails regular patrols of designated regions, responding to various incidents, enforcing regulations, making arrests, compiling evidence for judicial proceedings, and ensuring the safety of the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patrols in assigned areas to ensure security and deter criminal activity
  • Respond to and investigate reports of suspicious behavior
  • Enforce laws and issue citations or warnings as necessary
  • Carry out arrests, execute warrants, and interrogate individuals of interest
  • Provide the public with information regarding legal matters and safety protocols
  • Utilize communication devices and firearms effectively
  • Investigate criminal incidents and prepare comprehensive cases for court proceedings

Minimum Qualifications:

Familiarity with fundamental law enforcement principles and safety protocols. Ability to accurately recall events, assess situations critically, and foster positive community relations. Must demonstrate the ability to adhere to policies, exercise independent judgment, and produce detailed reports.

Requirements:

Citizenship Requirement: Must be a United States Citizen or resident alien.
General Requirements: High school diploma or GED, minimum age of 21, valid driver's license, and capability to obtain P.O.S.T. certification.

Experience and Training Guidelines:

Completion of high school and experience in law enforcement support or a related field. Coursework in criminology, law enforcement, or police science is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Normal color vision
  • Minimum visual acuity of 20/30 in each eye
  • Satisfactory auditory capabilities
  • No disabling physical conditions or illnesses
  • Emotional stability and maturity
  • Physical strength and endurance
