Job Highlights:

Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a Travel Mammography Technologist.

Shift: Days / 7a-4p, 8x5, 40 hours per week

Requirements:

  • Current TX license
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • BLS certification
  • Experience with Digital Mammography - required
  • Experience with 3D Mammography - required
  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program with ARRT certification in Radiography
  • ARRT advanced certification in mammography or MQSA qualified
  • Current continuing education and experience as required by MQSA and ARRT
  • High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited imaging technology program
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in Mammography
  • Preferred: Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies
  • Preferred: Prior quality control experience

The Mammography Technologist will operate x-ray equipment and perform various mammography-related diagnostic procedures. This role requires a high level of precision in positioning and exposure techniques. The technologist plays a vital role in delivering exceptional care and efficient results, significantly impacting both the organization's profitability and the patient experience.

Mammography Skills / Procedures / Experience:

  • Digital Mammography - Required
  • 3D Mammography - Required
  • Preferred: Two years of experience in Mammography
  • Preferred: Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software, and eRad
  • Preferred: Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies
  • Preferred: Prior quality control experience

Required Certifications / Licenses:

  • BLS certification
  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program with ARRT certification in Radiography
  • ARRT advanced certification in mammography or MQSA qualified
  • Must possess unrestricted licensure in the state of employment
