Job Title: Solar Sales Manager

Melink Solar LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand our market presence and achieve growth in the commercial solar sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and industry partners to drive business opportunities and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and energy savings analysis to prospective customers in a consistent and professional manner.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, outlining progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns that promote Melink Solar's solar energy solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Manage and maintain prospective and existing client records in our CRM system.
Requirements:
  • Clear and effective communication skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Challenger Based Sales experience is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Relevant certifications in solar energy or project management.
  • Ability to review and interpret construction documentation and design prints.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Superior customer service skills, including excellent written and verbal communication skills, high emotional intelligence, positive attitude, and a service leadership philosophy.
  • Strong work ethic and high level of self-accountability.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Strong organizational, follow-through, interpersonal, and communication and team building skills.
  • High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; four+ years related experience and or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA a plus.
  • Experience in selling financial benefits of energy efficiency projects.
  • Technical Sales experience within assigned markets and/or a minimum of 3+ years of technical sales experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
