Job Summary

The Food and Beverage Supervisor - Suites Level is responsible for overseeing the serving of guests in the suites level. This role requires a personable and detail-oriented individual who can work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Service Operations: Responsible for overseeing the setup of food service areas within specific suites based upon pre-order.
  • Quality and Hospitality: Ensures all suites are set prior to event based upon communication received of orders and maintains excellent quality and hospitality throughout the Suite Level of the arena.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Responsible for communication between counterparts of the department and supervises team members on non-event and event days.
  • Event Preparation: Responsible for organization and preparation of events, including assisting in closing out financials per event and ensuring correct billing takes place.
  • Alcohol Service: Responsible for supervising the service of beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, and must check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
  • Inventory Control: Monitors and maintains inventory control and product requisition.
  • Food Quality: Monitors and maintains food quality and ensures suites has all necessary serviceware.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas and assures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event.
  • Guest Service: Responsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals.
Requirements
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1-2 years' experience working in a supervisory capacity in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner.
  • Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Food Handling Certificate: Possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations.
  • Math Skills: Ability to calculate basic math functions as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.
