Job Title: Montana Field Staffing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Montana Field Staffing Coordinator to join our team at At Scale. This role will play a critical part in supporting the staffing needs of our field canvassing operations to engage with voters and support Democratic candidates up-and-down the ballot.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and screen incoming applications to identify qualified candidates for field positions
  • Conduct initial candidate assessments, including phone interviews, to evaluate suitability for the role
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and office staff
  • Enter corresponding interview data into the Applicant Tracking System to streamline the recruitment process
  • Respond to candidate inquiries and provide timely updates on their application status
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager to understand staffing needs and provide recruitment support accordingly
  • Actively recruit by attending events, job fairs, and businesses to attract potential applicants to join our team
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of the recruiting process and best practices for hiring field staff
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in recruitment, administrative, customer support, or related roles with similar responsibilities
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and data management is a plus
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with political organizing tools such as NGP VAN and MiniVAN
  • Commitment to progressive values
  • Must have a laptop and smartphone with data service
  • Must be able to work in an active field office environment with moderate physical activity (indoor/outdoor)
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive staff/transport materials as needed
