Summary Description
Deliver exceptional and knowledgeable service to customers; engage in cashiering, inventory management, and various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department. Accurately identify part numbers specific to motorcycles. Address complex customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide outstanding service to external clients.
Understand customer requirements, present options, resolve issues, and follow up effectively.
Ensure complete customer satisfaction without unnecessary referrals to other staff.
Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Deliver professional, knowledgeable, and courteous customer interactions.
Assist customers in finding products, manage special orders, respond to inquiries, and communicate return and exchange policies.
Monitor for theft and security issues.
Execute all cashiering tasks in compliance with company cash handling protocols.
Verify price tags for accuracy.
Implement appropriate verification methods for credit card transactions.
Keep the sales area organized, clean, and well-stocked.
Restock new inventory, inform management of sales trends, and maintain comprehensive product knowledge.
Ensure merchandise is displayed attractively.
Maintain the cashiering area in an orderly and clean manner.
Keep the cashiering space equipped with necessary supplies, such as bags and transaction forms.
Assist with incoming calls and direct them to the relevant personnel or department.
Create tags for damaged items and deliver them to the designated area.
Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Job Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience required, with 3-5 years preferred; or a combination of education and experience.
Ability to take initiative and solve problems effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to represent oneself and the company professionally.
Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and principles.
Proficient in computer use, particularly Microsoft Office Suite, and general email/internet skills.
Experience with Google Drive applications, including Google Sheets and Google Docs, is a plus.
Attention to detail is essential.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
Physical Demands
Requires the use of both hands.
Frequent bending, climbing, stooping, crouching, reaching, and lifting of materials up to 50lbs.
Requires standing and/or walking for extended periods.
  • Ability to balance and maneuver an 800+lb motorcycle.
Working Conditions
The work environment is typically loud.

Potential exposure to battery acid, gasoline, cleaning chemicals, or other hazardous materials commonly found in automotive service departments.

Occasional exposure to exhaust fumes or airborne particles.
Regularly works near moving mechanical components.
