Job Title: Senior CPQ Solution Architect/Business Analyst

At Nsight, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior CPQ Solution Architect/Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document the solution being implemented against each requirement/user story prioritized by business.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with developers and help in optimum solution formation.
  • Evaluate quality of functional requirement documents (FRDs) of peers with an aim to support continuous improvement across the team.
  • Prepare, maintain & improve the formats of FRDs, or similar documents, used by team.
  • Play the role of Solution Architect to help technical team develop right solutions for business.
  • Interact with stakeholders to tweak the scope of implementation or solution, to ensure minimum impact/liabilities to CPQ tools.
  • Provide timely response and deliver high quality solutions for all CPQ tools.
  • Be an influencer, mentor, and partner to more junior team members and business colleagues.
  • Help developers during system development working for preparation of test cases, flowcharts, Data Flow Diagram, Requirement documents, data etc.
  • Monitor Product related issues reported in issue tracker and ensure these are resolved appropriately by Product engineers.
  • Support periodical releases, Emergency Bug fixes and Co-ordinate with CPQ developers and support team.
  • Coordinate with CPQ development consultants and make available the information required by them on-time.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree / master's degree in technology/engineering/business analysis.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product selection, configuration and/or pricing (CPQ) tools in Control Valves/Pumps/Seals domain or any similar manufactured product of reasonable complexity.
  • Optionally: 2-3 years of experience as application support personnel or as CPQ tool tester, 1-2 years of experience with the development/coding of sizing & selection software.
Preferred Skills/Competencies:
  • Ability to analyze business processes and develop systems/programs to support and improve them.
  • Excellent understanding of efficient business processes within Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) domain.
  • Exposure & knowledge to latest CPQ technology such as Oracle CPQ/Big Machines, Salesforce CPQ, Apptus, Pros, etc. is ideal.
  • Preferred experience in sizing/configuring of Valve, Actuator, Pump, Seals etc. or any similar manufactured/mechanically engineered product.
  • Awareness in Excel VBA programming or a flavor to read software codes and capacity to correlate software code with issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to research industry standards and technical source material beyond in-house documents to understand required engineering principles.
  • Experience in working with all management levels by partnering/interfacing with business leaders.
  • Experience in sharing knowledge, mentoring or partnering with more junior colleagues.
  • Achieve & maintain high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Desire for a challenging work environment and function as a good team player.
  • Good interpersonal and communication (both verbal & written) skills.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Adapt quickly to changing business and customer needs.
  • Preferred experience with automated API tool testing projects/applications.
