Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Event Audio Visual Specialist to join our team at NASCAR. As an Event Audio Visual Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional audio visual support for our events, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio visual equipment for events, including large spectator events and track and client meeting room rentals.
  • Work closely with the Production Department, Venue Technology, and Special Events teams to provide AV support at events.
  • Communicate and assist clients to accomplish their audio visual needs.
  • Support audio/video in hospitality areas, including the Fan Zone, D500 Club, Garage areas, Rolex Lounge, and Harley J's, as well as special events held in the DIS Venue and Hall of Fame.
  • Assist the Event Operations team as needed to support events.
  • Track and assess assigned AV equipment and report any issues to the Production and Venue Technology Departments.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Operate custom interfaces and touch panels to successfully control networked AV in the DIS Venue.
  • Be comfortable working in an outdoor environment and be able to adapt to changing weather conditions.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of related experience.
  • Professional image and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, internal and external.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening and following instructions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and problem-solve.
  • Dependable transportation to and from work.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working fan-based events.
  • Experience working with and near celebrities.
  • Available to work extended hours at consecutive days.
  • Experience with MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Adobe.
  • Capable of lifting pounds.
  • Comfortable working on a ladder and operating a forklift or scissor lift.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position with an irregular schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary to attend events and fulfill job responsibilities.
