Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team at Daytona International Speedway. As an Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio visual aspects of events at the Speedway.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Audio Visual Coordinator in setting up and operating audio visual equipment for events
  • Work closely with the PA Department, Venue Tech, and Special Event teams to provide AV support at events
  • Communicate and assist clients to accomplish their audio visual needs
  • Support audio/video in hospitality areas, including the Fan Zone, D500 Club, and special events held in the DIS Venue and Hall of Fame
  • Assist the Event Operations team as needed to support events
  • Track and assess assigned AV equipment and report any issues to the PA and/or Venue Technology Departments
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Operate custom interfaces and touch panels to control networked AV in the DIS Venue
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years related experience
  • Professional image and ability to interact with all levels of organization internal and external
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and problem-solve
  • Dependable transportation to and from work
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working fan-based events
  • Experience working with and near celebrities
  • Available to work extended hours at consecutive days
  • Experience with MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Adobe
  • Capable of lifting pounds and comfortable working on a ladder
Attendance Requirements

Hours will vary, but will include all hours the office is open, evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary to attend events and fulfill job responsibilities.
