Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team at Daytona International Speedway. As an Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio visual aspects of events at the Speedway.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the PA Department, Venue Tech, and Special Event teams to provide AV support at events.
  • Communicate and assist clients to accomplish their audio visual needs.
  • Support audio/video in hospitality areas, including the Fan Zone, D500 Club, Garage areas, Rolex Lounge, and Harley J's, as well as special events held in the DIS Venue and Hall of Fame.
  • Assist the Event Operations team as needed to support events.
  • Track and assess assigned AV equipment and report any issues to PA and/or Venue Technology Departments.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Operate custom interfaces and touch panels to successfully control networked AV in DIS Venue.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years related experience.
  • Professional image through verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of organization, internal and external.
  • Dependable transportation to and from work.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience working fan-based events.
  • Experience working with and near celebrities.
  • Available to work extended hours at consecutive days.
  • Experience with MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Adobe.
