Job Summary

As an Audio Visual Technician at Daytona International Speedway, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio visual aspects of events. This includes large spectator events and track and client meeting room rentals. You will work closely with the PA Department, Venue Tech, and Special Event teams to provide AV support at events.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist Audio Visual Coordinator in setting up, operating, and maintaining audio visual aspects of events
* Work closely with the PA Department, Venue Tech, and Special Event teams to provide AV support at events
* Communicate and assist clients to accomplish their audio visual needs
* Support audio/video in hospitality areas to include the Fan Zone, D500 Club, Garage areas, Rolex Lounge, and Harley J's as well as with special events held in the DIS Venue and Hall of Fame
* Assist the Event Operations team as needed to support events
* Track and assess assigned AV equipment and report any issues to PA and/or Venue Technology Departments
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Operation of the custom interfaces and touch panels in order to successfully control networked AV in DIS Venue

**Requirements:**

* Experience working fan-based events
* Experience working with and near celebrities
* Experience with MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, AutoCAD, Photoshop and Adobe
* Currently certified or have operated a forklift or scissor lift

**Working Conditions:**

* Hours will vary but will include all hours the office is open, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary to attend events and to fulfill job responsibilities

* Project a positive image to internal (employees) and external (fans, vendor, other sports professional, community members) customers, communicate effectively and professionally at all times, comfort and experience with public speaking, exercise excellent managerial judgment, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, problem solve and be a team worker
