GENERAL FUNCTION:

As a key member of the Finance Transformation team, you will lead initiatives aimed at modernizing our financial systems platform, enhancing data transparency, and improving operational efficiencies.

Your role involves conducting intricate analyses of data and supporting various Finance Department functions, including Accounting, Treasury, and Forecasting.

You will tackle complex challenges while applying best practices rooted in both system and business knowledge.

Your focus will be on automating reporting processes, documenting data flows for clarity, and collaborating with different business lines to resolve data quality issues.

You will ensure that issues are escalated and communicated effectively to maintain visibility.


In this role, you will be responsible for managing risk by sharing ideas and concerns openly, adhering to policies and procedures, and maintaining accountability.

While operating within the Bank's risk framework, you will achieve results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting various types of risks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Conduct complex analyses and support one of the following Treasury-related functions: Asset/Liability internal reporting or Funding/Liquidity regulatory reporting.

You will provide data for intricate analyses concerning balance sheets, net interest income, and risk management.


Utilize ALM, QRM, and other modeling tools to assess the Bancorp's risk/return profile in support of Asset/Liability internal reporting.


Leverage regulatory reporting applications to ensure compliance with Federal Reserve guidelines in relation to Funding/Liquidity regulatory reporting.

You will identify, analyze, and support data used in Treasury processes critical to business operations.

Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Accounting, business lines, Treasury, IT, and EDO, to ensure that all pertinent issues are addressed and documented for senior management.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

REQUIRED:


A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for majors in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Information Technology.

An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.


Typically, five or more years of experience in a Treasury-related role or support function in at least one area: Asset/Liability or Funding/Liquidity is expected.

Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.

Strong analytical, modeling, and database skills are essential, with experience in ALM modeling software (QRM preferred) for those focused on Asset/Liability functions.


Knowledge of treasury products, including investment securities, capital markets, and various money market instruments, is necessary.

You should demonstrate the ability to learn and become proficient with analytical and database management tools.

Proven capability to manage multiple assignments independently and demonstrate initiative is required.

Strong critical thinking, leadership, business acumen, relationship-building, and teamwork skills are essential.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment is necessary.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational abilities, are required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, is essential.

Proficiency in SAS is strongly preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Normal office environment with extended periods of computer screen usage.
