Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the formulation of program initiatives aimed at enhancing current services and developing innovative supports that lead to meaningful outcomes for individuals served.
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to guarantee that all program operations comply with organizational policies and meet regulatory obligations.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of program budgets and expenditures to ensure financial alignment, including oversight of billing practices and overtime management.
  • Participate in the assessment of program service effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for improvements in quality and efficiency.
  • In partnership with Program Directors and coordinators, strive to minimize overtime while maintaining adequate staffing levels across services.
  • Oversee the recruitment, supervision, and performance evaluation of Program Directors, making informed recommendations regarding staff advancement and terminations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Quality and Compliance Officer on investigations and incident management.
  • Engage in management negotiations during contract discussions with labor representatives.
  • Attend and contribute to executive management meetings, preparing and presenting relevant reports as needed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of federal and state regulations, as well as organizational policies, ensuring compliance and adaptation to changes.
  • Stay informed about advancements in assistive technology and service options for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enhance program offerings.
  • Commit to continuous professional development through participation in educational opportunities and networking within professional organizations.
  • Embrace new assignments and projects, actively seeking opportunities to contribute positively to the organization’s reputation.
  • Interpret and clarify relevant laws and regulations concerning programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Analyze complex scenarios swiftly and determine effective courses of action.
  • Manage multiple intricate projects, adapting to shifting priorities and meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration across various organizational levels, promoting a cooperative environment.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of progressive management experience within an organization supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, particularly in a regulated environment. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
