Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Properly identify patients and perform venipuncture using standard/butterfly methods
  • Label all specimens following laboratory policy
  • Receive/cancel/orders and process laboratory/microbiology specimens

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED, completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training Program
  • Laboratory experience, specimen processing preferred; or clinical office experience with medical terminology
  • National Certification preferred
