Traveling Phlebotomy Specialist

As a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist at Baystate Health, you will be responsible for collecting and processing patient blood samples with precision and care. This role requires a strong understanding of phlebotomy techniques, specimen handling, and computer functions necessary for patient identification and test order management.

Working under supervision, you will treat all contacts with respect and collaboration, adhering to the Department of Pathology Cultural Compass and Service Promise. A minimum of 12 months of Phlebotomy experience is required, with a proven ability to work independently.

Schedule:

36 hours per week, Night Shift (6pm - 6:30am), Rotating weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

Minimum of 12 months of Phlebotomy experience required, with demonstrated ability to work independently. Proficiency in phlebotomy and specimen handling acquired through experience. Education and Certifications:

GED or HiSET required. Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification preferred.
