Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative II to join our team at Abbott Rapid Diagnostics. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of customer service needs, including answering phones, placing orders, providing status updates, and resolving customer issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level account service support, handling various operational tasks to research, resolve, and facilitate customer assistance.
  • Develop a personal relationship with customers, performing proactive calls to discuss standing orders, backorders, and offering alternative sizes.
  • Answer a multi-line phone, troubleshoot customer calls, and process daily orders in the ERP system.
  • Communicate and coordinate order release with shipping and manufacturing departments, confirming orders with customers and informing them of order status.
  • Learn and maintain an extensive product catalog to assist customers with ordering questions.
  • File complaints, document details of actions taken in the customer complaint log, and assist with shared front office job functions.
  • Provide ERP, phone, and email training to new employees and demonstrate commitment to the development, implementation, and effectiveness of the Alere Quality Management System.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Prior experience with shipping and related customer support is preferred.
