Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator Assistant to join our team at Optima Medical.

About Optima Medical:

Optima Medical is an Arizona-based medical group with 23 locations and over 90 medical providers serving more than 120,000 patients statewide. Our mission is to improve the quality of life in Arizona by delivering personalized healthcare services and promoting wellness through prevention.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process or review accounts payable invoices for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and provide documentation support as needed
  • Coordinate with departments to obtain approval for payment and resolve any discrepancies
  • Conduct research and contact vendors to resolve invoice issues
  • Generate open accounts payable reports and ensure timely payment processing
  • Assist with daily or weekly ACH payments and check runs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree with accounting courses preferred
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines as assigned
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications, and electronic mail
  • Basics knowledge of GAAP requirements and accrual accounting
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
