Position Overview

The Client Relations Coordinator is responsible for fostering and nurturing relationships with key clients to drive business development within these accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the sales team with various requests
  • Manage order processing
  • Provide backup for bids and contract pricing
  • Handle pesticide license documentation
  • Address freight claims
  • Organize local deliveries in designated regions
  • Engage with clients to ensure they are fully leveraging all available resources, including training programs and vendor support
  • Communicate ongoing marketing initiatives and events to the local clientele
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales Support Representatives, Business Specialists, and other team members to ensure smooth order placement and fulfillment, while maintaining high customer satisfaction
  • Track progress on opportunities and share measurable outcomes
  • Provide in-store assistance as needed, including counter service and yard support
  • Participate in special projects such as store launches and regional marketing efforts

Desired Skills:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service or sales support preferred
  • Familiarity with the green industry or knowledge of landscaping, nursery, and irrigation products is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with new clients
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and time management abilities
  • Understanding of the sales cycle and solution-oriented selling techniques is a plus
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • A college degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
