About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our division, you will assist in planning and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in identifying training needs and gaps, and propose training/education plans to fill gaps.
  • Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills.
  • Provide training to field personnel through tailboards and briefings.
  • Evaluate Safety, Health, and Environmental (HSE) education and training programs.
  • Assist in developing training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials.
  • Support Company HSE training to ensure it complies with state and federal regulations.
  • Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
  • Audit job sites to ensure all employees are following proper HSE procedures.
  • Prepare written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective measures.
  • Complete near miss/good catch reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate incident reporting.
  • Follow up on corrective actions to ensure completion and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • High school graduate and/or GED equivalent.
  • 2 years minimum related experience (ideally within power line construction).
  • OSHA 30 certification and/or related safety certification, preferred.
  • Understanding of Federal and State safety regulations and training requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and experience with web-based tracking software.
