Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care by delivering personalized dining experiences. As a member of our caregiving team, you will work on assigned units in a healthcare facility, helping patients make menu selections, assembling, delivering, and picking up their meal trays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with patients, nursing staff, and the culinary team to ensure accurate and timely meal delivery.
  • Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient's menu selection, adhering to regulatory agency standards and facility confidentiality policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing concerns and providing support to ensure their dining experience meets their needs.
  • Work closely with dietitians to monitor patients with specific dietary requirements, such as liquid diets or calorie counts.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to HACCP guidelines and facility infection control policies.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
  • Basic computer and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.
