Ambulatory Care Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Ambulatory Care Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Beaverton Clinic and the Ambulatory Float Pool. This includes managing the administration of established policies and procedures, coordinating facilities, and space planning. The successful candidate will have strong problem-solving and organizational skills, as well as high-level written and verbal communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Beaverton Clinic and the Ambulatory Float Pool.
  • Administer established policies and procedures, coordinate facilities, and space planning.
  • Oversee a dynamic timeshare clinic and phlebotomy that hosts ten specialty and sub-specialties that change/rotate periodically.
  • Promote a patient and provider-focused service model, monitor patient satisfaction indicators, and investigate patient volume and flow.
  • Utilize OPEx systems and methods to facilitate process improvement and quality assurance strategies.
  • Supervise timeshare medical assistants and building department purchasing agent staff in the building.
  • Assess staff performance regularly through competency testing, rounding, and soliciting feedback.
  • Monitor resource needs, purchase items needed to support productivity of staff and clinic, and coordinate assessment, planning, and purchase of technical equipment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in a related field and 5 years supervisory experience in a healthcare or clinical setting, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to work with EPIC or similar electronic health record system, Oracle or similar software system, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, as well as high-level written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA, MPA, MHA.
  • Clinical experience as EMT, MA, LPN, etc.
