Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient team at ECHN. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
- Administer various physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and improve function.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to educate and empower individuals to manage their conditions and achieve independence.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with insurance guidelines and departmental policies.
- Participate in interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of patient-centered care plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and continuing education requirements to maintain professional competence.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S. degree.
- Current licensure in Physical Therapy in the state of Connecticut.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records and other departmental software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
