Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans to improve or restore function.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and conduct modified evaluations as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve measurable goals for each patient.
- Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to relieve pain and attain established goals.
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities to maximize independent functional activity.
- Document patient care in accordance with insurance guidelines and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary approaches to patient care and community education.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy with a minimum of a B.S.
- Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs.
- Access to reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites.
