Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of a Logistics Manager encompass the following:
  • Focus on streamlining and overseeing the movement of products, information, or services throughout the supply chain.
  • Ensure a balance between supply and demand while evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of distribution systems, storage facilities, or logistics operations.
  • Examine and consolidate data to uncover opportunities for improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within network capacity.
  • Establish performance metrics, create program management frameworks, and innovate or simplify processes to facilitate decision-making in complex network scenarios.
  • Engage with stakeholders across various departments, persuading and enabling consensus to meet shared objectives related to network capacity.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on network capacity, promoting ongoing enhancements and adherence to lean methodologies at scale.
  • Oversee a portfolio of cross-functional projects linked to network capacity, driving performance enhancements and efficiency in project execution.
  • Identify and implement operational improvement strategies within network capacity, emphasizing logistics planning.
  • Possess a Master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, finance, or a related technical or quantitative discipline.
  • Demonstrate experience in formulating and executing process improvement strategies utilizing data and performance metrics.
  • Exhibit advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including skills in pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, and data connections. Familiarity with software such as SAP Ariba, WMS, and Blue Yonder is advantageous.
  • Have a background in data analysis to inform decision-making.
