Job Overview:

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal Specialist to support our growing litigation and investigative support practice area. As a key member of our team, you will provide professional, accurate, and timely paralegal support to assist our litigating teams in all phases of litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide research and analysis to support litigation efforts, including locating responsive information, identifying relevant laws, judicial decisions, and legal articles.
  • Assist attorneys with drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents, as well as reviewing documents for relevance and privilege.
  • Support the missions of Employment and Civil Litigation teams, including performing research, synthesizing transcripts, and identifying areas requiring further investigation.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of legal research tools, such as LEXIS NEXIS, Westlaw, and Pacer.

Requirements:

  • Active and maintained Top Secret federal security clearance.
  • Five or more years of relevant experience in litigation paralegal or FOIA analyst roles.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of legal research tools and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of relevant experience with trial experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and hands-on familiarity with computer platforms for document review and case management.
