Key Responsibilities of Financial Operations Manager

  • Manage the financial operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory valuation, revenue recognition, and asset oversight.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to evaluate operational outcomes regarding profitability, budget adherence, and overall organizational efficiency. Implement process enhancements and update procedural documentation.
  • Participate in the budgeting process and financial forecasting, establish and uphold planning and control measures, including the cost accounting framework, and assess and report on variances.
  • Prepare internal financial reports, refine and enhance reporting mechanisms for greater utility and efficiency, and generate external reports as required.
  • Conduct and oversee biannual physical inventory assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with various departmental teams to address issues related to accounting systems and financial strategy.

Preferred Qualifications for Financial Operations Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing context.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting, financial reporting, and budget oversight.
  • In-depth understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards.
  • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems, ideally Dynamics 365.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000-$115,000 based on experience.
