Senior Early Childhood Educator

Position Overview

The Palos Park Episcopal Day Care and Learning Center has been dedicated to delivering enriching "Early Childhood" experiences for over 35 years.

We are in search of a **creative**, **compassionate**, **patient**, and **enthusiastic** educator.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Designing and executing developmentally suitable lesson plans
  • Creating engaging and interactive educational activities within a safe and enjoyable atmosphere
  • Maintaining direct communication with families
  • Ensuring a tidy and well-organized classroom environment
  • Conducting Parent/Teacher meetings
  • Completing educational portfolios for students
  • Adhering to all licensing regulations and guidelines

Qualifications: A High School Diploma is required. Preferred qualifications include DCFS teacher credentials.

Prior experience in a daycare setting is advantageous.

Work Schedule: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (40 hours per week)

Incentives: New Teacher Sign-On Bonus available.
