Early Childhood Education Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Education Lead to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our Early Childhood Education team, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for young children, fostering creativity, engagement, and curiosity, and planning and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Foster creativity, engagement, excitement, and curiosity.
  • Plan and provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
  • Partner with co-teachers to implement best teaching practices.
  • Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • Work cohesively with classroom co-teachers and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Must qualify with a total of 30 general college credit hours AND 6 credit hours in Early Childhood Education/Child Development from birth to age 6 or an equivalent Child Development Associate Certification (CDA).
  • Must have completed 15 certified hours of Gateways to Opportunity Continuing Education Units.
  • Must have current Membership to Gateways to Opportunity.
  • Must have current CPR/First Aid Certification (or complete through Loyola during the first 30 days of employment).
  • Food Handling certification.
Preferred:
  • Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
