Proficiency in using testing equipment such as tweezers and microscopes is also necessary.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough testing and inspection of electrical components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. They will utilize various testing equipment and methodologies to evaluate component performance, reliability, and safety.
A key aspect of this role is collaboration with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions. The Electrical Component Inspector must maintain testing equipment and ensure a clean, organized testing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough testing and inspection of electrical components, including SMT assemblies
- Utilize various testing equipment and methodologies to evaluate component performance, reliability, and safety
- Write and issue tickets for non-conformance and prepare detailed non-conformance reports
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- Maintain testing equipment and ensure a clean, organized testing environment
- Proven experience in electrical component testing and inspection, with a strong focus on SMT
- IPC-610 certification required
- Strong understanding of electrical standards and regulations
- Proficiency in using testing equipment such as tweezers and microscopes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
