Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Space Exploration Technologies Corp. in this exciting opportunity.

About the Role
This position will involve designing, developing, and testing highly reliable electronics for communicating with our satellites. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will have complete ownership over the hardware that enables this connectivity, sitting at the intersection of electrical, mechanical, thermal analysis, software, and antenna engineering.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test complex electrical designs for satellite communications systems
- Evaluate third-party electrical and design integration solutions for reliable operation of Starlink
- Partner with software, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing teams, and production test teams to drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and test of electrical designs

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience in electrical design, development, and testing of satellite communications systems
- Familiarity with RF systems, high-speed digital communication, power conversion, and avionics
