Soar Autism Center is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team in Englewood, Colorado.

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in our mission-driven care model. Our approach is centered around the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play-based form of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. We empower children to reach their full potential by fostering a supportive and developmentally-appropriate learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's high standards
  • Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert BCBAs, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy principles
  • Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework
  • Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification

Qualifications:

  • Strong preference for either enrollment in or completion of a degree program. Bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
  • Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification (Soar will provide paid training)
  • Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children
  • Ability to work on a team
