Job Title: Part-Time Leasing Consultant

At University Partners, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our leasing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents, prospects, and visitors, while effectively leasing apartments and promoting our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Effectively lease apartments in accordance with occupancy goals and follow Fair Housing Standards.
  • Conduct outside marketing activities under the direction of the Assistant Manager and Community Manager.
  • Review and process lease applications, including credit and income verifications and background checks.
  • Complete lease paperwork and files for each resident, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure the condition of leased apartments prior to move-in and follow up with residents throughout their lease terms.
  • Assist with daily opening and closing procedures, including inspecting the leasing path and amenities areas.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including lead tracking and lease renewal efforts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; or High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Excellent customer service, sales, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact well with others.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow posted work rules and procedures.
Working Environment:

This is a part-time position, working approximately 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
