Internal Audit plays a crucial role in realizing Target's mission by providing assurance and risk insights that are vital as we collaborate with risk and business leaders across the organization. You will apply professional judgment, analytical skills, agile methodologies, and innovative approaches on a daily basis. Your role will involve understanding and evaluating the effectiveness of risk management capabilities, including processes and controls, to support Target's strategic, business, and compliance goals.
As a Senior Technology Auditor, you will spearhead the development and execution of Internal Audit initiatives, utilizing your expertise in risk management to identify and assess risks and internal controls. You will leverage your subject matter knowledge to deliver risk insights and assurance that align with business objectives. This role requires independent work with a high degree of initiative, the ability to provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues, effective project management, communication with business stakeholders, and the cultivation of strong business relationships.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information technology, software engineering, or computer science.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology auditing.
- Expertise in auditing and enterprise risk management concepts, including risk assessment, prioritization, process and internal controls, and root cause analysis.
- Strong professional judgment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in utilizing data and analytical tools to address business challenges and navigate the audit lifecycle, including audit planning, risk assessment, engagement execution, and issue management.
- Experience in leading Internal Audit projects and managing stakeholder relationships.
