About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager III to join our team at Blue Origin. As a Technical Project Manager III, you will be responsible for leading and managing technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical project management, with experience in managing complex technical projects and teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing project plans, managing project budgets, and ensuring that projects are delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures.

You will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating project risks, developing and implementing project schedules, and managing project resources. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, and that all project deliverables are met.

As a Technical Project Manager III, you will be a key member of our technical project management team, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical projects that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage technical projects from initiation to completion
  • Develop and implement project plans, manage project budgets, and ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, develop and implement project schedules, and manage project resources
  • Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, and that all project deliverables are met
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical projects that meet the needs of our customers
Requirements
  • Strong background in technical project management
  • Experience in managing complex technical projects and teams
  • Ability to develop and implement project plans, manage project budgets, and ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Ability to identify and mitigate project risks, develop and implement project schedules, and manage project resources
  • Ability to ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, and that all project deliverables are met
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical projects that meet the needs of our customers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Tableau
  • Familiarity with composite manufacturing
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience
  • Involvement with multiple portions of an aerospace product life cycle: R&D, Development, Production
  • Experience with aerospace vehicles
  • Experience with Primavera (P6), Doors Next Gen, CREO, Windchill, Microsoft Suite
