Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and continuously improve the execution of our risk, issue, and opportunity processes.
  • Work directly with operations, engineering, and program management teams to identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities and lead mitigation strategies and burndown plans.
  • Manage the process development and improvement, root cause and corrective action, vendor management, and internal training, and scheduling.
  • Possess a passion for improving metrics and reporting systems that provide risk process insight.
Requirements
  • Possession of a B.S./M.S. degree in engineering or technical field.
  • 8+ years of manufacturing or engineering experience.
  • Ability to assimilate technical engineering information quickly and summarize concisely.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement short-term and long-term strategies to mitigate risks to a program's technical requirements, assets, cost/schedule baselines, and safety.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusting and effective working relationships that improve team performance and deliver results.
  • Highly adaptable in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment; able to thrive with ambiguity.
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical aptitude in support of enabling senior leadership to make informed, critical decisions.
  • Capability to obtain wide system and program knowledge to convey complex system dependencies and impacts.
  • Continual improvement mindset towards processes and tools.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Tableau.
  • Familiarity with composite manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Involvement with multiple portions of an aerospace product life cycle: R&D, Development, Production.
  • Experience with aerospace vehicles.
  • Experience with Primavera (P6), Doors Next Gen, CREO, Windchill, Microsoft Suite.
