Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Paralegal to enhance our legal team. This role involves collaborating closely with attorneys to assist in managing client cases from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing legal research and investigations pertaining to personal injury matters.
  • Engaging with medical professionals and specialists to collect evidence and construct robust cases.
  • Facilitating case management tasks, which include organizing case files, monitoring deadlines, and liaising with clients and opposing parties.
  • Examining medical records and other relevant documents associated with client injuries.
  • Supporting trial preparations by organizing exhibits and coordinating witness interviews.
  • Providing general administrative assistance to attorneys and legal personnel as required.
  • Drafting various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Requesting and securing medical records, invoices, and other pertinent documents from healthcare providers and institutions promptly.
Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

  • A solid understanding of personal injury law and associated legal processes.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in pre-litigation personal injury or as a paralegal within a legal firm or department.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Familiarity with legal software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
Work Schedule

This position requires in-office attendance from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
