Job Title: Senior Cost Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our Real Estate Cost Management team. As a Senior Cost Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our clients, embedding and promoting the purpose, values, and vision of Turner & Townsend.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Provide expert advice on cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting to clients.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop cost estimates and manage project costs.
  • Review and validate monthly pay applications from contractors and ensure accurate payment.
  • Prepare and present cost reports to clients, highlighting key cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate cost risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in cost management, preferably in the real estate sector.
  • Strong understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with cost management software.
  • RICS accreditation or working towards accreditation is highly desirable.
