Operating Room Specialist

Providence offers an exciting opportunity for a talented Operating Room Specialist to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital.

- 1.0 FTE, Full-Time, Day Shift
- 1.0 FTE, Full-Time, Night Shift
- 0.9 FTE, Full-Time, Evening Shift
- 0.9 FTE, Full-Time, Variable Shift
- 0.8 FTE, Full-Time, Variable Shift
The primary duties of the Operating Room Specialist include: preparing for and being knowledgeable of the surgical procedure to be performed, setting up and maintaining a sterile environment, assisting the surgeon as necessary, assisting the circulating nurse and other members of the surgical team, maintaining familiarity with and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments. The Operating Room Specialist initiates responsibility for the care of specimens and performs other related duties as assigned.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Surgical Tech program coursework/training.
- National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year Operating Room experience.
