Culinary Specialist

Summary: Morrison Healthcare is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions. You will ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

• Food Preparation: Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.
• Food Service: Serve meals or prepare for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Inventory Management: Assist in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required. Assist in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 1 year of previous cooking experience is required.
• Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and ability to stand for long periods of time.
