About the Role: The Partner Solutions Engineer serves as the primary technical resource for the partner division. You will be tasked with actively managing and driving all technical elements of the ISV partnership process, collaborating closely with the ISV manager and the broader partner team as the key technical advisor and product advocate. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate technology and product positioning to both business and technical audiences, ensuring all technical concerns of assigned accounts are addressed to guarantee complete satisfaction throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate progress towards successful sales in collaboration with Account Executives.
  2. Oversee the technical sales process from initial meetings and demonstrations to proofs of concept and customer success transitions.
  3. Translate customer requirements to Product Management teams.
  4. Willingness to travel as needed.

In This Position, You Will:

  1. Establish strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with the technical teams of our customers and partners.
  2. Work collaboratively across TalEx departments to devise strategies and campaigns that enhance sales in your region.
  3. Effectively articulate product positioning and competitive advantages to a diverse audience, including individual contributors, VPs, and C-level executives.
  4. Conduct demonstrations and proofs of concept.
  5. Be prepared to travel up to 50% of the time.

Ideal Candidate: You are self-driven with a proven history in software sales and a solid understanding of technology. You thrive in the dynamic environment of a technical organization with a rapidly growing customer base. You possess strong presentation skills and can communicate professionally in written formats, including emails and reports. You have the ability to engage deeply with data engineers and build credibility in technical discussions. Your organizational and analytical skills enable you to navigate sales challenges with creative and adaptive solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of relevant experience in enterprise software technical sales.
  2. Experience in a startup environment.
  3. Background in developing solutions with Hadoop, Spark, and Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  4. Strong Linux expertise, particularly in ETL, cloud data integration, analytics applications, and big data.
  5. A B.S. in Computer Science or a related field is highly preferred.
  6. Familiarity with programming/scripting in Java, Perl, Python, or Unix Shell scripts is advantageous.
