Position Overview
The Hematopathology Service within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is in search of an exceptional academic hematopathologist at the Assistant or Associate Attending Pathologist level. Candidates with experience in flow cytometry, molecular diagnostics, or coagulation are encouraged to apply.

About Our Service
Led by Dr. Lauren McVoy, our Hematopathology and Hematology Services represent one of the largest clinical practices in the United States, focusing on the care of cancer patients and the diagnosis of hematological malignancies.

Our team comprises 24 faculty members, including hematopathologists, immunologists, and clinical pathologists, supported by a dedicated group of allied health professionals and cutting-edge laboratory facilities. These include automated hematology platforms, digital pathology systems, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and molecular pathology laboratories.

Research Opportunities
MSK boasts world-class clinical and research programs in both lymphoid and myeloid malignancies. This position offers unparalleled opportunities for collaborative research and access to research funding.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic services in hematopathology, immunology, and hematology for patients with solid tumors and hematological malignancies.
- Foster and support translational and clinical research in hematological disorders.
- Participate in the education of fellows and allied health staff.

Qualifications
- Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and/or Clinical Pathology.
- Subspecialty training and board certification or eligibility in hematopathology.
- A robust academic track record in the subspecialty.
